14th International Convention of East Asian Society for the Humanities opened

23th to 25th October, the 14th international Convention of East Asian Society for Humanities Study opened in Sichuan International Studies University. This convention was directed by South Korea East Asian Society for Humanities, undertook by Sichuan International Studies University and Chongqing University of Technology. Periodical press joined the convention. Scholars and experts from over 30 universities that come from South Korea, Australia, mainland China and Taiwan China presented the convention. Mr. Vice Principal He Jianguo of Chongqing University of Technology made welcoming speech, the director of Periodical Press of Chongqing University of Technology Peng Xi delivered speech in closing ceremony.

Originated from South Korea, East Asian Society for Humanities consists of over 400 scholars from China, South Korea, Japan and East Asian regions. The Society has promoted the cultural communication and collaboration in East Asia, which studies folk culture, regional culture, arts, literature, religions, language teaching and regional cultural communication. The thesis of this year’s convention is the Inheritance and Development of East Asian Human Value.

 

Periodical Press of Chongqing University of Technology was fully involved in this convention. The communication with Professor Cui Huan from Yeungnam University, the president of East Asian Society for Humanities and professor Nan Jishou from Korean Medicine University of Daegu strengthened bilateral relationship with Chongqing University of Technology. It also offers a broaden stage for the Academic Journal of Chongqing University of Technology. All the communications will construct a better platform for academic communication among universities around the world.
